It is not a plagiarism detection system, per se, since it does not evaluate the inclusion or accuracy of citations; Turnitin finds text that matches other sources and creates a Similarity Report to help you make informed evaluations of student work and discern if the student needs instruction, correction or judicial action. Topics include: 

• Creating a Turnitin-enabled Canvas assignment 
• Reviewing the Similarity Report 
• Grading with Speedgrader (Canvas) vs. Feedback Suite (Turnitin)
