Virginia Emerging Filmmakers Festival will be at the Alamo Cinema & Drafthouse. The Film Studio at Shenandoah University is proud to present student films from around the United States. The participating young filmmakers are competing for prizes including cash and an $8,000 scholarship to Shenandoah University. Over 75 short-films were submitted by high school and college students from around the US including several from SU.

There will be free tickets available for Shenandoah students on a first-come first-served basis. For tickets and the showing schedule, go to  drafthouse.com/winchester .
