Virtual Spring Wine Tasting
May 6 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Virtual Spring Wine Tasting, hosted for alumni by the Office of Donor & Alumni Relations, begins at 7 p.m. (EST). Looking for the perfect wine to surprise Mom with on Mother’s Day or for a special Spring brunch? Alumna Karen Dromie Becker ’77 and her husband, Don, are here to help! Karen and Don are amateur wine makers and have been for more than 30 years. They have entered their wines in numerous amateur wine making competitions, winning awards on the state and national level. Both have also served as past presidents of the West Jersey Chapter of the American Wine Society.
During the virtual wine tasting, Karen and Don will walk you through the process of picking the best Rosé for the Spring season. Registration for this event is FREE. Click here to sign up to receive the Zoom link for the event. Then, all you need to do is purchase your wine! Registration closes at noon (EST) on Tuesday, May 4.
Karen and Don have selected the following wines (listed below) that can be found at most local wine stores across the country. However, you are welcome to participate with other brand name wines as long as you choose the style of wines recommended. In order to keep track of the wine you like and dislike, be sure to download the wine tasting sheet where you can rank your selections.
Suggested wines: Barefoot Rosé (2020), Apothic Rosé (2019) and Gerard Bertrand Cote’ des Roses Rosé (2020). To get the most out of this wine tasting experience, you should also have the following items available:
- Two (2) wine glasses per person
