Volunteer Opportunity: Girls on the Run 5K Race: Volunteers are needed for race day for set up, registration, refreshments, cheering and other activities. Girls on the Run is a nonprofit that works with girls in grades 3-8. While they are learning about being a good friend, how to choose good friends, conflict resolution and so much more, they are training for an end of season 5K. Each season comes to an end with a joyful and fun non-competitive 5K. This culmination gives girls a tangible sense of accomplishment and the confidence to be the author of her story.
