DESCRIPTION:Home » Clubs & Organizations\n\n\n\nAmerican Sign Language Club Movie Night\n\n\n\n\nThe Shenandoah University Psychology Club and the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) host the annual Out of the Darkness campus walk on Saturday\, April 11\, in Sarah’s Glen. This community event aims to support mental health\, connect participants with resources and raise funds for suicide prevention research and training. In-person registration opens at 9 a.m.\, followed by an opening ceremony at 10 a.m. and the walk immediately after. The event is open to the public and is family-friendly; however\, only official service animals are permitted. DESCRIPTION:Home » Clubs & Organizations\n\n\n\nAmerican Sign Language Club Movie Night\n\n\n\n\nSupport local animal welfare on Saturday\, April 11\, from noon-2 p.m. by volunteering with the Center for Civic Engagement at the Winchester Area SPCA (111 Featherbed Ln\, Winchester\, VA 22601). Participants will assist the shelter with various tasks\, including managing inventory and providing socialization for the animals through reading to dogs and spending time with cats. This hands-on opportunity allows students to give back to the community while supporting the well-being of shelter pets.
