The team will host an interest meeting and throw-around on Wednesday\, Sept. 2\, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Aikens Stadium. Women of all experience levels are welcome to attend and learn more from team leaders and coaches about what is involved while having the opportunity to throw the ball around. The team already has home and away games scheduled for the season. Those interested in joining who cannot attend the meeting can visit the team’s table at the Involvement Fair on Monday\, Aug. 31\, or contact recsports@su.edu.

Attendees are invited to experience a mock trial demonstration and learn more about the Trial Advocacy/Mock Trial Program. Hosted by the Criminal Justice/Pre-Law program\, the event will feature a presentation by the Shenandoah University National Competition Mock Trial Team\, including opening statements and the direct and cross examination of a witness to the homicide in a first- degree murder case. The presentation will begin promptly at 12:30 p.m. with Jeffrey Harding\, Esq.\, J.D.\, who teaches the Trial Advocacy/Mock Trial courses\, as the presiding judge.
