Help the Winchester-Clarke Garden Club harvest fresh vegetables at the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley\, 901 Amherst St\, Winchester\, VA 22601\, every Monday at 10 a.m. The produce will be donated weekly to the Congregational Community Action Project (CCAP) food pantry in Winchester to help families experiencing food insecurity. Thanks to a Garden Club of America grant\, the museum’s vegetable gardens have been revitalized and are now ready for harvest. No gardening experience is necessary; just wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes. Volunteers are welcome to participate once or throughout the season. Thanks to a Garden Club of America grant\, the museum’s vegetable gardens have been revitalized and are now ready for harvest. No gardening experience is necessary; just wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes. Volunteers are welcome to participate once or throughout the season. The event will begin at the Lodge. This year’s special program\, “Coming Like a Meteor”: Artillery at Cool Spring\, is free and open to the public. Jonathan Noyalas will lead a walking tour focused on the role of artillery during the battle. The event will also feature an immersive\, hands-on artillery experience with historian Alan Robertson.
