Being a graduate of the SUDOT program I have compassion and understanding for the academic challenges students experience, but I also understand the need to challenge yourself as a student to allow you to become the most effective clinical practitioner. After working as an adjunct faculty member over the past two years I am excited to now be a full time professor sharing in this life changing educational journey.
My research interests have included working on training first responders to be more aware of the needs of individuals with Autism during emergency situations. My clinical experiences have ranged from development of a pediatric outpatient program, home health, assisted living, skilled nursing facility, outpatient adult, and inpatient hospital settings.
