Personal Quote:I believe strongly in pushing my students to think outside of their comfort zone and to constantly strive to walk in the shoes of others. We are sending students out into the world to make life and death decisions about the people in their community so it is imperative that they think about where those people are coming from before they judge them. We all do not have to agree on issues but we should all try to understand how others got to where they are in life. And never underestimate the power of a woman in a great pair of heels!
Personal Highlights:
I am a proud pup parent to Lizzy and Lady. If I am not with my students or my pups, then I am in the gym. I may also be shoe shopping. I am married to the coolest guy I know. My favorite holiday is halloween and you will definitely see me on campus in a costume every year. I also listen to heavy metal and love going to concerts. I think this is one of the best experiences you can have in your life. So I try to bring that concert atmosphere to all of my classes! It is always a unique and exciting experience every time you step into class with me!
