Dr. Gökçe Palak is an Associate Professor of Supply Chain Management in the Harry F. Byrd, Jr. School of Business at Shenandoah University. Her degrees, in Industrial and Systems Engineering, are from Mississippi State University (Ph.D.), Colorado State University-Pueblo (MS) and Bogazici University (BS). Her research interests lie in the areas of transportation, lot sizing, and supply chain management. Her work has been published in peer-reviewed journals including IISE Transactions, International Journal of Production Economics, Computers and Industrial Engineering, and Engineering Economist. She has received 2019 IISE Transactions Scheduling and Logistics Best Application Paper Award. She teaches courses in the areas of analytics, operations and supply chain management, and project management. She serves on the board of INFORMS Junior Faculty Interest Group. She is a member of INFORMS, ASCM, IISE, DSI, and POMS.
