Kim Fendley created, and still directs, Shenandoah University’s
Sociology BS and minor. She also created the Administration of Justice B.S. which has now morphed into Criminal Justice.
Fendley has spent her life working collaboratively with various agencies and organizations to improve the practical applications of their missions through community outreach and research. Areas worked include: infant mortality, juvenile delinquency, education in prisons, forest management, soil conservation, and community growth.
Fendley is a sociologist. All three degrees and her lifetime of work has been spent teaching and using sociology.
