Professional Highlights:
Dr. Kim had worked in the hospitality industry for several years before obtaining a Ph.D. degree.
Her research focuses on consumer penalty, customer satisfaction and retention, and relationship marketing. Her research has been published or accepted for publication in the Journal of Business Research, Journal of Service Research, Services Marketing Quarterly, International Journal of Hospitality Management, Journal of Travel and Tourism Research and Business Horizons. She received the Best Author Award for the article published in the JAABC for the March issue of 2006. She also received Best Paper Award for the article “Penalty Decade” coauthored with Dr. Amy K. Smith at the 2004 American Marketing Association’s Summer Marketing Educators’ Conference.
