Self Service provide software to students, staff and faculty.
You can open Self Service by clicking on the spotlight and typing “Self Service”.
Use your SUNet credentials (Canvas/WebAdvisor username and password) to log into Self Service.
After login in you will see categories on the left side.
Browse the apps available and click “Install” to install an app on your Mac. Be sure to check regularly for new apps. You don’t have to install all the apps, only the ones you want or that your professor requires. It is your responsibility to keep the apps and OS on your Mac updated. You can check for Apple Software Updates and Microsoft Office Updates, install Flash and Java updates and the latest web browsers, through Self Service.
Common things to install include:
• Apple Software Updates
• Microsoft Office 365
• Firefox and Google Chrome
• SPSS Statistics
• Examplify (test taking app)
Note: You must be on the campus network to install software through Self Service.
