I have taught at SU since 2013. I also taught adjunct community health clinicals for GMU and Marymount during graduate school.
What Types Of Nursing Jobs Have You Had?
My very first nursing job was at an in-hospital hospice unit. I’ve also worked in medical/oncology at Reston Hospital and oncology clinical patient care research at NIH.
What Advice Would You Give To Undergrad/ Grad Students?
The nursing profession is very versatile and there are many different paths you can choose. Take your time and one day you will find your right path and bloom where you’re planted.
What Is Your Best Memory At SU?
When students share how they have come to love nursing research and one day want to go into it.
What Do You Like To Do In Your Free Time?
I love to play with our little boy and take him to different places for brand new experiences. He’s 4 years old and growing and changing every day. Nothing relieves work stresses like hugs and kisses from a little one!
What Is Your Favorite Food?
I love anything Korean, Italian or Middle Eastern.
Do You Have A Favorite Book Or Movie?
My favorite movie is Masquerade (Korean with English subtitles) based on historical characters. The same actor plays two main roles and switches back and forth seamlessly.
