This is my fourth year at SU. I have been teaching since 1983, so I have a vast experience including: James Madison University, Eastern Michigan University, University of Colorado, Northern Colorado University and University of South Carolina.
What Types Of Nursing Jobs Have You Had?
Obstetrics, Acute Care Pediatrics, Rehabilitation Pediatrics and Primary Care Pediatrics. I am an RN and PNP
What Advice Would You Give To Undergrad/ Grad Students?
As you start, really learn the basics — Assessment, pathophysiology and pharmacology. So much builds on these early courses. As you begin to learn more and more, always remember – nurses take care of the person/community experiencing the health care issue, not just the issue. You are blessed to serve in a great profession that provides so many rewarding opportunities.
What Is Your Best Memory At SU?
My first candlelight service on campus at the Christmas holiday.

I love to hike, bike, ski, swim, paint and read. I love spending time with my family.
