The Abbey Theatre, renowned as the national theatre of Ireland, takes over the Back Room Pub at Brewbaker’s Restaurant. Pull up a bar stool, order a pint and prepare yourself for an exclusive and intimate theatrical experience.
Two Irish gents meet at the pub. They discuss their fathers, politics, prostates, pop culture and the afterlife. What unfolds is a witty and provocative evening of theatre that has sold out pub performances across Ireland, and has been hailed by The Sunday Independent as “achingly, breathtakingly funny.” Written by award-winning Irish novelist, dramatist and screenwriter Roddy Doyle, Two Pints brilliantly blends the intelligence and existential insights of Samuel Beckett with the humor and charm of a barstool philosopher.
