Shenandoah Conservatory’s Wind Ensemble joins the choral ensembles, under the direction of Matt Oltman and Hillary Ridgley, in a program that celebrates breath and the simple, but life-sustaining, need to breathe. Through a variety of works for voice and winds, the program explores how breath, when taken collectively, satisfies the soul-sustaining need to make music together. The evening culminates with an inspirational version of Shenandoah for combined winds and voices.
