Duke Ellington’s abilities as bandleader, composer and pianist are unparalleled with more than 1,000 of his compositions being recorded, many of them becoming jazz standards. Shenandoah Conservatory’s Director of Jazz Studies and Trombone Artist-in-Residence Matt Niess leads an evening of music featuring some of Ellington’s most beloved works.
Sunday Art in the Park with Shenandoah Conservatory
Reston Town Center Association and Reston Community Center present Sunday Art in the Park with Shenandoah Conservatory. Performances take place Sunday evenings during the summer from 7PM to 8PM and are free and open to the public. Pack a picnic and join us in the park for an evening of music!
