Following a tour of Spain and Portugal, the Symphony Orchestra, Conservatory Choir and soloists from the opera ensemble present a mesmerizing concert staging of Handel’s first dramatic work in the English language, Acis and Galatea. Revel in the lush, dynamic sound of Handel’s enchanting score and be transported by the powerful and harmonious voices in a production that brings to life the poignant love story of Acis and Galatea. With innovative and engaging staging by Ella Marchment, and featuring conductor Emanuele Andrizzi and choral master Richard W. Robbins, this performance will be an unforgettable evening of Baroque splendor — a feast for the eyes and ears!
