In fall 2017, Shenandoah University entered into a truly unique agreement with Capital Arts Entertainment to co-produce a full-fledged feature film, using Shenandoah students as the primary crew and as cast members, too. The film, “Santa Girl,” starring well-known actors Barry Bostwick, Jennifer Stone and Devon Werkheiser, provided students with a chance to put their education into action on a professional film set. Students handled a slew of responsibilities, from roles as cast members and in production design to craft services work. Here’s a taste of how this first-of-its-kind production came together.
