Shenandoah University and the city of Winchester at the baseball/softball complex held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Saturday, April 2 to celebrate the completion of renovations at Bridgeforth and Rotary fields in Jim Barnett Park. The fields, which serve as the homes of Shenandoah’s baseball and softball programs, respectively, recently received a host of upgrades that include artificial turf playing surfaces at both facilities. The renovations were made possible through a partnership between SU and the city of Winchester.
