Shenandoah recognized the 2003 and 2004 USA South Champion Hornets Football teams during Homecoming 2018, with a reunion and a special program before the current football team’s 59-34 Homecoming ODAC victory over Hampden-Sydney. The reunited players said it didn’t feel like they missed a beat with their former teammates, even with the passage of the years. Members of those ’03 and ’04 Hornets teams also fondly remembered their time as part of the modern squad’s early days and offered some advice for current players.
