The 11th annual Business Symposium held by Shenandoah University’s Harry F. Byrd, Jr. School of Business in March 2019 featured two world-class keynote speakers and plenty of learning and networking opportunities for the regional business community, as well as for Byrd School students. Each year, the symposium draws extraordinary presenters. This year, the morning keynote was provided by Marilyn Tam, Ph.D., one of the top 100 leadership speakers in the world, a former CEO of Aveda, and current CEO of her own firm, which is dedicated to supporting companies and nonprofit and governmental organizations in achieving their mission and goals. Chris Ullman, known as The Happy Whistler, was the second keynote speaker.
