Shenandoah University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy/Master of Science in Athletic Training dual degree program (https://www.su.edu/athletic-training/…) produces graduates with an array of skills in not only rehabilitation, but also prevention and coaching (in terms of helping athletes grow faster and stronger). Shenandoah offers a number of pathways into the dual DPT/MSAT program, including an early assurance pathway (https://www.su.edu/admissions/future-…), and students undergo clinical rotations in places as varied as high schools and hospitals as they prepare for careers as physical therapists and athletic trainers.
