The fall 2017 semester at Shenandoah University astounded. Students served as the cast and crew of a feature film, “Santa Girl.” Faculty conducted important voice research. The Shenandoah Center for Immersive Learning enhanced the use of virtual and augmented reality on campus and the Bernard J. Dunn School of Pharmacy moved its Northern Virginia classes to the Inova Center for Personalized Health in Fairfax. People from across the university turned out to watch a historic solar eclipse. Students traveled, competed as athletes, celebrated a Homecoming complete with a football victory, performed, learned about robotics, and watched as the finishing touches were put on the new James R. Wilkins, Jr. Athletics & Events Center. It was quite a semester, and spring 2018 is shaping up to be just as good, if not better.
