Although spring semester classes didn’t start until the next day, Shenandoah University students gathered on campus to remember the life, work, spirit and legacy of late civil rights leader Martin Luther King, Jr. on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. They worked on service projects, such as assembling meals for Stop Hunger Now!, reflected on the meaning of King’s life, and participated in a candlelight walk to conclude the day’s events, with some of the path marked by luminaries hand-decorated by students, faculty and staff.
