Shenandoah Celebrates Juneteenth | A Reading Of The Emancipation Proclamation

Juneteenth is a holiday that commemorates the 1865 emancipation of the last enslaved African-Americans in the Confederacy. As we navigate recent and historical racialized trauma against Black Americans in the U.S., we want to acknowledge, honor, and uplift our Black students, alumni, staff and faculty at Shenandoah. Join us for this reading of the Emancipation Proclamation.
