Firsts appeared everywhere during the fall 2018 semester at Shenandoah University. We announced the first virtual reality design and esports majors in Virginia, debuted an amazing Student Performance Week at Shenandoah Conservatory, and premiered the university’s first film co-production with Capital Arts Entertainment! And, as always, we greeted our newest students during Move-In Day; had tons of fun at Homecoming (where we also greeted a new addition: a one-ton bronze statue of our mascot Buzzy the Hornet); performed on the playing field, in the classroom, and on the stage; explored the area’s awesome outdoor activities, and so much more. This is just a taste of what it means to be part of the Shenandoah family.
