It features a note of welcome by Director of Jazz Studies and Associate Professor of Jazz Piano Robert Larson ’08, D.M.A., and Coordinator of Conservatory Teaching and Graduate Assistantships and Associate Professor of Piano Karen Walker, D.M.A.; music provided by surprise members of our extended conservatory family; a greeting from the Shenandoah Conservatory Student Council; a movement routine with Assistant Professor of Modern Dance Matt Pardo, M.F.A.; a note from Dean and Professor of Music Michael Stepniak, Ed.D., and a reflection by President of Trinity College, Oxford, Dame Hilary Boulding.
