Transformative Teaching and Learning within Shenandoah University’s Center for Teaching, Learning and Technology (CTLT), develops initiatives and programs in pedagogy, instructional design, and instructional technology. It provides instructors with innovative tools and guidance, which has been essential to maintaining the vitality of both teaching and learning experiences during the novel coronavirus pandemic of 2020. Shenandoah Conservatory Head of Acting Pedagogy and Associate Professor of Theatre Scott Hudson, M.F.A., has utilized TTL resources and concepts, as well as the university’s new ShenFlex hybrid (combining in-person and online learning) course model, to create a new kind of experience for his students and himself.
