Members of the Shenandoah University community helped out the larger Winchester community on Sept. 12, as they worked on projects for the United Way of Northern Shenandoah Valley’s annual Day of Caring. Day of Caring is a one-day service event in which participants dedicate their day to painting, landscaping, cleaning and more, and prove how much of a difference people can make in a community with a single day of collaborative effort. Approximately 1,000 volunteers from throughout the region participated in the 2019 Day of Caring. Shenandoah is proud of the part it played in the day!
