Increase the impact of your gift through your employer’s matching gift program.

1. See If Your Company Participates
Contact your or your spouse’s Human Resources department to ask if they match charitable gifts and to request the necessary instructions.

2. Make Your Gift
Donate to Shenandoah and keep your receipt for your company’s form.

3. Submit the Matching Request
Complete the process as directed by your employer. While many companies use online portals, any required paper forms can be mailed to our Office of Advancement at the address below.

Electronic Transfer from a Broker
This is the fastest and most secure method.

Step 1: Notify Us in Advance
Please alert Mark Turner (contact info below) with:

  • Your full name and address
  • Your broker’s name and contact information
  • Name of the stock, ticker symbol, and number of shares

Step 2: Provide Your Broker with These Details

Step 3: Confirm the Transfer
Ask your broker to send a confirmation email or letter to Mark Turner detailing the donor name, date of transfer, and stock information.

Physical Stock Certificates
For your security, you must use two separate envelopes mailed on the same day. The postmark date will be the date of your gift.

  • Envelope 1: Send the unendorsed stock certificates.
  • Envelope 2: Send a signed stock power form (available from your broker).
