This 117-acre lake offers good bird-watching opportunities, especially for migratory waterfowl. You can also fish here for bass, crappie, northern pike, and channel catfish.
On-site John boat and canoe rentals are available. A boat launch is provided, but gasoline-powered boats and sailboats are prohibited.
Directions: From Winchester, take Route 522 south. About 1.4 miles past Route 340, look for the Shenandoah development. Turn right here, and follow signs to the public fishing site.
