Watersheds

Two major watersheds make up the Shenandoah Valley region in Virginia and West Virginia: the Shenandoah River watershed and the Opequon Creek watershed.

Each has several significant sub-watersheds such as Abrams Creek, Cedar Creek, Passage Creek and Smith Creek.

These web pages provide maps, research reports and other resources for understanding the Shenandoah Valley region’s watersheds – large and small.

Stay Tuned. The “Watersheds” section will be updated soon.
