Attend Chris’s Session
This session will begin with some highlighted industry statistics from the Project Management Institute (PMI) “2019 Pulse of the Profession”. Presenters David Schwantes and Chris Grassmuck, who each hold the Project Management Professional (PMP) designation from PMI, will provide a brief overview of project management, based on PMI’s Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK), and identify some common “projects in disguise”. Dave and Chris will then discuss the value of employing project management principles while managing projects and identify the five progressive PM maturity levels organizations progress through. The presenters will conclude with four important elements for any organization (large or small, profit or non-profit) to initiate or enhance project management principles.
