Richie began his post-secondary education at Lord Fairfax Community College, where he earned an associate’s degree in Network Engineering. He also holds undergraduate degrees in Information Technology from Shepherd University and West Virginia University and a postgraduate degree in Strategic Leadership from Mountain State University.
In his current role, he serves as the Director of Academic Computing Technology in the Center for Teaching, Learning, and Technology at Shenandoah University.
Richie most recently served as the Information Technology Strategist, CIO/ISO for Lord Fairfax Community College.
Richie also led the technical division for a leading software automation company where his roles included Director of Client Services, Technical Division Manager, and Software Trainer.
Specialties: Richie has over 20 years of experience in business and academic technology leadership roles. He has participated in various information technology conferences as a keynote speaker and led technical focus groups with emphasis on academic technology infrastructure, improvements, and considerations.
