A workshop for using Turnitin in Canvas Assignments will be held from 12 to 1 p.m. on Wednesday November 21 in Smith Library, room 318, or remotely via Zoom. Register Here.  Turnitin is an electronic text matching system that compares text in a student assignment against a database of sources. It is not a plagiarism detection system per se, because it does not evaluate the inclusion or accuracy of citations and references; Turnitin just finds text that matches other sources and…
