DESCRIPTION:Home » Sarah’s Glen\n\n\n\nSarah’s Glen\n\n\n\n\nThe Shenandoah University Psychology Club and the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) host the annual Out of the Darkness campus walk on Saturday\, April 11\, in Sarah’s Glen. This community event aims to support mental health\, connect participants with resources and raise funds for suicide prevention research and training. In-person registration opens at 9 a.m.\, followed by an opening ceremony at 10 a.m. and the walk immediately after. The event is open to the public and is family-friendly; however\, only official service animals are permitted. SUMMARY:8th Annual Conservatory Duck Race
DESCRIPTION:Home » Sarah’s Glen\n\n\n\nSarah’s Glen\n\n\n\n\nThe Shenandoah Conservatory Student Council hosts the 8th Annual Conservatory Duck Race on Wednesday\, April 1\, at Sarah’s Glen. Registration and student organization tables begin at 2 p.m.\, with live music and the main race starting at 3:30 p.m. at the Abrams Creek waterfall. Student costs are $2 for the first duck and $1 for each additional duck. Faculty and staff costs are $3 for the first duck and $2 for each additional duck. Prizes will be awarded to winners in both the student and faculty/staff categories. Free kazoos and other duck themed items will be provided.
