About Gene Lewis
Gene was born and raised in the Winchester/Frederick County area and currently resides in Cross Junction with his wife Anne and daughter Madison. He loves the outdoors and spends as much time as possible in nature and participating in activities such as hiking and backpacking, trail running, skiing, fishing and photography. He is a firm believer in the benefits to mind and body that nature can provide and enjoys sharing those benefits with others.

Shenandoah University has a spectacular site for creating an exciting outdoor classroom that is beneficial to both the SU community and the general public. I am excited to help make this a place that our students take ownership of and remember. A place they want to be a part of.”
