Shenandoah Conservatory COVID-19 Safety Measures & Masking Policy Patron Advisory

Updated August 23, 2021

As a matter of public health, the following safety measures are currently in place for all Shenandoah Conservatory performances:

  • Masks are required at all times for all patrons and visitors regardless of vaccination status during all indoor performances taking place at Shenandoah Conservatory. Masks must be worn in the lobby, inside the theatre/concert hall and in the restrooms.
  • Performance ticket holders who do not comply with these policies will not be admitted or permitted to remain in the concert hall or theatre.
  • Masks will be available onsite at the Box Office for patrons who do not have their own.
  • Performing artists will perform unmasked only if they are fully vaccinated and have tested negative for COVID-19 within 72 hours of their performance(s).
  • While Shenandoah Conservatory maintains an exceptionally high vaccination rate (in excess of 95%), all staff and crew, regardless of vaccination status, are required to wear a mask at all times during all indoor performances taking place at Shenandoah Conservatory.
  • Performances at Bright Box Theater will follow the venue’s recommendation that all patrons, staff and crew (regardless of vaccination status) wear a mask when inside Bright Box and when not eating or drinking.
  • The Shenandoah Conservatory Box Office is currently open for in-person sales Monday through Friday from 12PM to 5PM, and two hours prior to all ticketed performances at the specified venue. Masks are required when visiting the Box Office during performances and recommended during regular business hours. Tickets and information are also available via phone and online at conservatoryperforms.org (convenience fees apply). Customer support is available during regular business hours via phone at (540) 665-4569 and email at boxoffice@su.edu.
