Ticket Policies

Ticket Exchanges/Refunds

Exchanges may be made up to 24 hours before the date of the performance. Tickets must be exchanged for performances within the same season and are based on availability. An additional fee of $3 per ticket is levied on exchanges of all single tickets. Subscribers may exchange at no additional cost. Patrons who exchange for performances at a higher rate or originally purchased tickets with a promo code are responsible for the difference in price. Once exchanges are complete, patrons should return voided ticket(s) to the Box Office in person or by mail. All sales are final; no refunds.

Discounts

Discounts are available for civil servants (including military, teachers, first responders and healthcare workers), senior citizens (ages 62 and up), students, groups and Shenandoah University faculty and staff. Please see the Box Office for specific details.

To learn about other special promotions, sign up to receive email updates.

Group Tickets

Group reservations and discounts can be secured for parties of 10 or more. Reservations may be modified up to two weeks prior to the date of the scheduled performance. Call or visit the Box Office for more details.

Children

Parents are the best judges of what is most appropriate for their children. However, due to the length of performances, we recommend that children attending an event be at least five years old. All patrons, regardless of age, must have a ticket.

Out of respect for the artists and audience members, we encourage parents with children to sit where they can easily exit the venue in case their child becomes disruptive. As a courtesy to others, parents or guardians may be asked to remove children creating a disturbance during performances. Ushers are available at the venue to assist with seating and any other needs.

Complimentary Student Rush Tickets

Shenandoah University and Shenandoah Conservatory Arts Academy students may receive one (1) complimentary ticket per performance. Complementary student tickets are non-transferrable and may not be exchanged. Students who are performing in the production do not receive complimentary tickets for that show, unless the show is double cast. Students may claim their comp ticket beginning two hours prior to the start of the performance at the venue of the performance. Students cannot book tickets for their friends who are not present, cannot book in advance, and MUST show their Shenandoah University student ID to obtain a ticket. Students who have graduated are not eligible for student comps. Student comps are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis and subject to availability. Students who wish to secure a ticket for performances that are likely to sell out, may purchase a ticket in advance at the non-SU student ticket rate.

Faculty/Staff Comps

Shenandoah University faculty and staff are eligible for complimentary or discounted tickets for most performances, pending availability. For complete details, call or visit the Box Office Monday through Friday from 12PM to 5PM.

Accessibility

All facilities are handicap accessible. Thanks to Quota International of Winchester, infrared hearing system headsets are available at the Box Office for Ohrstrom-Bryant Theatre only. Accommodations for disabilities may be arranged by contacting the Box Office at least three days prior to the performance.
