Book and lyrics by Eric Idle
Music by John Du Prez and Eric Idle
Directed by original Broadway cast member Kevin Covert, Monty Python’s Spamalot is lovingly ripped off from the classic film comedy Monty Python and the Holy Grail. The musical retells the legend of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table, embellished by a bevy of beautiful show girls, cows, killer rabbits and French people! Winner of three Tony Awards, the show’s successful Broadway run was followed by two runs on the West End. This outrageous, uproarious and gloriously entertaining story will delight audiences as they search for the Holy Grail and “always look on the bright side of life.”
Suggested Show Rating: PG-13
