An Evening with Kate Baldwin
How Did You Get This Number?
Hailed as “the redheaded firecracker” (The New York Times), Kate Baldwin brings her signature show How Did You Get This Number? to Ohrstrom-Bryant Theatre for an evening of Broadway and popular songs and expert storytelling. Known for her Tony-nominated performances in Hello, Dolly! and Finian’s Rainbow, Kate has also originated beloved roles in Big Fish, Giant and Superhero as well as her sparkling appearances on the nation’s concert stages.
Joining her is award-winning composer and music director Andy Roninson, recipient of the prestigious Jonathan Larson Grant and creator of the new musical The Real Kyle McCarren, winner of the 2025 Triple R Award. And as a special highlight, students from Shenandoah Conservatory’s musical theatre program take the stage for a vibrant medley from Big Fish, blending Broadway brilliance with the energy of tomorrow’s stars.
Together, Kate, Andy and Shenandoah Conservatory’s talented musical theatre students promise an unforgettable evening of heartfelt melodies, masterful storytelling and musical moments that linger long after the final note.
“We suppose there are some things that Baldwin cannot do, but over the past decade we have yet to see her be anything but superb.” – Steven Suskin of Playbill
