|Join the Symphony Orchestra for Washington Week, an informal masterclass and performance presented as part of the fourth Global Leadership Program for students of the International Music Academy, Liechtenstein (IMA). Shenandoah Conservatory music students will perform two pieces, one is a composition for full orchestra by Verdi and the other is for eight cellos by Saariaho. Violinist Julian Kainrath, cellist Petar Pejcic and pianist Dmytro Semikras, international guests of the Ueno Foundation will then take the stage for a special thirty-minute performance. This event is produced by Dr. Ryuji Ueno in collaboration with the Ryuji Ueno Foundation and the Embassy of Liechtenstein.
This event is free and open to the public; no tickets are required.
