Friday, September 18 @ 7:30 pm
Armstrong Concert Hall
Fourteen-time Grammy Award winner Dan Tyminski has become one of the defining voices of modern bluegrass, building a career that spans traditional roots music, genre-defying collaborations and unforgettable live performances. Known for lending his voice to “I Am a Man of Constant Sorrow,” in the film Oh Brother, Where Art Thou? and the global hit “Hey Brother” with Swedish DJ and EDM-pioneer Avicii, Tyminski spent more than three decades performing with Alison Krauss and Union Station while establishing himself as an acclaimed solo artist, songwriter and instrumentalist. Joined by an exceptional group of musicians, Tyminski brings audiences an unforgettable evening of bluegrass virtuosity, heartfelt storytelling and the unmistakable sound that has captivated audiences around the world.
