The Studio Big Band (Matthew Niess, director) honors America’s veterans with a tribute celebrating service, sacrifice and jazz as America’s art form. Presented in recognition of Veterans Day and America’s 250th anniversary, this concert reflects on our nation’s history through the enduring spirit of jazz. Featuring special guest soloist Jens Lindemann, the program showcases swinging big band music, patriotic favorites, the Armed Forces Service Medley and inspiring selections that honor those who served.
