Armstrong Concert Hall
Musicians of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra
When musicians from one of the world’s great orchestras gather as chamber artists, something extraordinary happens. Comprised of musicians from Amsterdam’s legendary Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra — “a fixture on shortlists of the world’s great orchestras” (The Washington Post) — Camerata RCO brings intimacy, virtuosity and remarkable musical connection to the chamber stage. Drawn together by a shared passion for chamber music, these acclaimed artists create performances filled with warmth, precision and exceptional artistry. This program showcases beloved works by Mozart and Beethoven, including Mozart’s Quintet in E-flat Major, reimagined for expanded chamber forces, and Beethoven’s celebrated Septet in E-flat Major — a cornerstone of the chamber repertoire renowned for its elegance, vitality and vibrant interplay between winds and strings. Refined, expressive and deeply collaborative, Camerata RCO offers an unforgettable evening of chamber music performed at the highest level.
