Experience a dynamic afternoon of guitar artistry at the Shenandoah Guitar Festival with a split-bill performance featuring Leonela Alejandro and the internationally acclaimed duo Ziggy & Miles.
Alejandro brings a vibrant and expressive voice to the stage in a richly varied program featuring works by Paulo Bellinati, Tōru Takemitsu, Ernesto Cordero and Leo Brouwer, blending lyrical beauty, rhythmic vitality and Latin American influences with contemporary color and virtuosity.
Ziggy & Miles showcase their electrifying precision and seamless ensemble artistry through a program spanning Astor Piazzolla’s fiery Tango Suite, Debussy’s beloved Suite bergamasque in their own arrangement and commissioned works written specifically for the duo.
Together on one program, these distinctive artists offer audiences a compelling celebration of the guitar’s remarkable breadth, brilliance and expressive power.

Now in its third year, the Shenandoah Guitar Festival is a gathering of students, enthusiasts and professionals in a celebration of the art of the guitar on the main campus of Shenandoah Conservatory in Winchester. The festival brings together a vibrant community of performers, educators and audiences for concerts, masterclasses and collaborative experiences that highlight the versatility and artistry of the guitar. This year’s event includes four extraordinary concerts featuring performances by Colin Davin and friends, the Patterson/Sutton Duo, Leonela Alejandro, Ziggy & Miles and Jason Vieaux.
