What do you do in the School of Nursing?

I’m the Executive Assistant to the Dean.

What do you like most about working at SU or what’s a favorite memorable moment?

THE STUDENTS!  I love it when they graduate and walk across the stage at Pinning. I love it when the students return and attend Grad School. I love it when they just stop in to say hi. After 8 years in the School of Nursing, it’s still the best part of my job.

Do you have a favorite food or restaurant?

My favorite restaurant is in Bedford, PA. It’s Jean Bonnet Tavern and has the BEST french onion soup and oatmeal pie!

Do you have any pets?

 I have a West Highland Terrier named Millie, 2 cats, Tom and Timmy.

What do you like to do in your free time?

I love to watercolor and anything artsy!

What Is Your Favorite Place You’ve Lived Or Visited? Why?

My special place I call “heaven” is in Bedford, PA. It’s the Omni Bedford Springs Resort.

Is there anything about yourself that others may not know that may interest them?

I lived in Japan when I was 2 years old before moving to Virginia.
