“People sometimes look at receiving accommodations as being embarrassing, I don’t look at it that way. My accommodations help me thrive as a student at Shenandoah University in getting the best education I can. My battle with a 3-year cancer treatment left me needing assistance. Accommodations help give me the same opportunity as any student to be successful. Without them, attending college would be impossible and I would not be able to fulfill my dream of becoming a pediatric oncology nurse. The Academic Enrichment Center helps me with anything I need and does it willingly. The process of signing up and registration was very easy. They are helpful, super nice and always willing and able to help me succeed.”

“Having dyslexia makes me see things differently and the Academic Enrichment Center not only understands that but they are helping me reach my full potential!”
